Stroll down America's Main Street and save time at the National Archives!

Our newest walking tour takes a stroll down Pennsylvania Avenue seeing some of the most iconic sites in the country, including the most famous address in the world: 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Your tour will begin by visiting Lafayette Park to learn about history and scandals behind the President's early neighbors.

After visiting the White House, we'll walk right down Pennsylvania Avenue taking in the history of the famed thoroughfare. Hear all about the crazy history of the Avenue's citizens throughout the years including soldiers, politicians, thieves, and even ladies of the night!

Your tour will conclude at the National Archives, home to the original Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and many more iconic documents our country is built on. Often the security line outside the National Archives can stretch around the building and be over an hour long! But, with your tour, you get reserved access that allows us to skip the security line, getting you inside sooner. Your guide will depart here allowing you to visit the National Archives at your own pace.

Please note that this tour will not go inside the White House. For information on requesting a White House tour from your Congressional Representative, click here

Reservations are required for every tour we offer. All walk-up customers will be accommodated in the best possible manner based on guide and availability. This walking tour does include Reserved Access entrance into the National Archives (which can save up to an hour of waiting in the security line). • Expand/Collapse What is your cancellation policy?

When you reserve a tour, we schedule our exceptional guides and support staff to make your tour the best experience possible. For this reason we require a minimum of 72 hours notice for cancellations and/or rescheduling of tours. If you fail to meet your appointment, we still incur the same expenses, we probably have turned away others guests that would like to go on tour, and tour guides may have shown up just for your group. Therefore, there are no refunds for those guests who fail to show for a reservation or cancel without 72 hours notice.
