Experience the Small Group Discover D.C. E-Bike Tour.

We don't offer a tour that will bring you to more of Washington DC's best sites than this one! Join us for our brand new e-Bike adventure while we show you around the best Memorials along the National Mall and the Tidal Basin. After a brief lunch stop (cost of lunch not included) we'll cross the Potomac River into Arlington where we'll visit the Marine Corps Memorial (aka the Iwo Jima Memorial). Later, we'll venture into the oldest part of Washington, DC: Georgetown. All along the ride, your expert guide will fill you in on all the best history, urban legends, anecdotes, and even ghost stories that the city has to offer. And, with our small group e-Bike tours, you know you'll get a personal experience better than any tour we offer.

What's an e-Bike? These two wheeled transporters use a small motor to help power you forward meaning less effort to go farther. They are perfect for a tour like this that covers a lot of ground in a short amount of time. They may be new, but they are very easy to ride. After a brief orientation, you'll be rolling like a pro in no time. If you know how to ride a regular bike, you know how to ride an e-Bike.

FAQ

  • Expand/Collapse Are reservations required?

Reservations are required for our D.C. E-bike tours and space is strictly limited, so we highly recommend booking in advance!

  • Expand/Collapse What is your cancellation policy?

We offer 100% refunds on all tours if the reservation is cancelled more than 72 hours (3 days) before the scheduled tour. We do not offer refunds for any reason once we are within 72 hours of the scheduled tour.

  • Expand/Collapse Do we go inside the museum and monuments?

Unfortunately, we cannot enter the museums due to time constraints on our tours. Besides, there's always some people that want 10 minutes in the Smithsonians and others that want 3 hours. We do reserve time to walk around some memorials on tour and to take photos. Our bike tours are designed to enjoy the city from a broad perspective so that's what we're going to do!

  • Expand/Collapse Are tours cancelled in case of rain?

No, our tours run rain or shine. We have ponchos available for anyone that needs them in our office. They are only $1 and we gladly will buy them back from you if you don't use them during your tour. We encourage all guests to take a look at the forecasted weather and plan how you dress accordingly.

  • Expand/Collapse What's an e-bike?

These bikes look like traditional two-wheel bicycles, but use a small motor to help power you forward meaning less effort to go farther. They are perfect for a tour like this that covers a lot of ground in a short amount of time. After a brief orientation, you'll be rolling like a pro in no time. If you know how to ride a regular bike, you know how to ride an e-Bike.

  • Expand/Collapse How big will my group be?

Our E-Bike tours operate in groups of a maximum of 4 people.

  • Expand/Collapse Are bike tours appropriate for kids?

All riders must be at least 16 years of age and at least 5 feet (155cm) tall to participate on our E-Bike tours. We do offer several Bike Tours using regular bikes which are perfect for riders of all ages!

  • Expand/Collapse Can I rent an e-bike without a guide?

We do not currently rent our e-bikes. However, we do rent our regular bikes on an hourly and daily basis! Please see our Bike Rentals page for more information and how to reserve a traditional bike.

  • Expand/Collapse Do your tours ride in the streets?

For some parts, but most of our tour is on the National Mall or on large bike/pedestrian paths. We carefully designed tour routes with safety as the top priority. Whether on the street, bike lane, or pedestrian path, you always have a tour guide who is an expert and safely maneuvering your group around the city.

  • Expand/Collapse Do I have to wear a helmet?

Yes. Your safety is top priority for us and studies have shown that helmets can reduce head injuries by at least 85%. Therefore, we do require all riders to wear helmets on our tours.

  • Expand/Collapse What is provided with the tour?

Along with one of our phenomenal tour guides, every guest will recieve an e-bike, helmet, and a bottle of water. Additional waters are available for purchase in our office for $1 and we also have a water bottle filling station that is available to use for free.
