New Orleans Day Segway Tour Reviews

NEW ORLEANS SEGWAY TOUR is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 289.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A new modern way to tour an old historical city! We took our teenagers to New Orleans to experience new activities. We are from nearby B.R. La so have been to N.O. numerous times for various reasons over the years so the goal of this trip was to experience new & different adventures. City Segway Tours helped us nail itt!!! Fun, interesting & active with a modern twist! Taking in the sights, hearing scandalous stories & sacred secrets about the city while zooming around the historical steets on the latest & greatest two wheeled mode of transportation....it really was a perfect afternoon! Shout out to all staff.. but especially our guide June who rocked!! We will be recommending to all friends, local & those visiting from other states.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The right balance of riding fun and NOLA history I took my three teenagers on the 3 hr. tour in July of 2017. The tour company did a great job of training each of us and made sure we were comfortable before heading out on the tour. The tour is broken into segments where riders have a chance to rest their legs and get a bit of NOLA history. This is by design, riders can use the break after navigating the NOLA streets. In addition one of the stops was at an open parking lot where riders are encouraged to test out what the Segway. My children and I had a blast really testing the limits of the machines. Three hours is enough time on the Segways, you will not be disappointed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from More standing than riding - way too much history I think this segway company is great I just think our tour because of our tour guide. Our guide was Jack (even though his badge said he was John) and he was a very nice guy and also a walking history book. Unfortunately he gave us way too much history at each point (couldn't even begin to digest it all) so we ended up standing on the segway listening to this instead of riding (you go on a segway tour to ride on the segway - not stand on it). So much talking that he had to cut out some of the route. He also didn't do much picture taking for us - didn't even stop at the Farmers Market nor did he even point out cemetery #1.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lucky tour The tour itself was great! 3 hours to see many interesting & historical sights! Great way to cover a lot of ground & to see many areas. We had a fun time! Only complaint is that regardless of the fact that our Segway guide was very knowledgeable of the history, he unfortunately had an undesirable need to bloviate. My husband found him to be a bit condescending when we found ourselves drifting from the narrative. We were only a group of 2 so I think he could've adapted his narrative to accommodate our interests/ attention spans. Toward the end it seemed like a boring script. So.... yes he lost out attention. Thank you
