If possible, please let us know if you would like one of our tandems, trailers, baby seats, or child bikes in advance that you'd like to reserve either a child seat or trailer.

  • Expand/Collapse Do we ride on the streets or on the sidewalks?

Yes, we are on city streets for the majority of the tour. Our route takes advantage of streets with bike lanes as much as possible but there are times we will need to share the road with other vehicles. For this reason we reccomend that all riders are confident enough with their biking skills that traffic will not be a problem. Also younger riders must have enough skill to follow in a single file line behind the guide so they are not in danger of veering into traffic.

  • Expand/Collapse Am I required to wear a helmet?

Yes. Your safety is top priority for us and studies have shown that helmets can reduce head injuries by at least 85%. Therefore, we do require all riders to wear helmets on our tours.

Beyond the French Quarter Bike Tour Reviews

NEW ORLEANS BEYOND THE FRENCH QUARTER BIKE TOUR is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 33.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ride We had a really good time riding around with Danny. He was a history head and we learn a lot about NOLA. In my opinion, the best part of this tour is going outside the tourist beaten French Quarter part. There are so much more outside the FQ. This is a wonderful way to get to know the city up close and personal. I was fascinated by the cemetery in NOLA and requested if we can hit the cemetery. Danny had a plan and we made it into the cemetery early enough before they closed the gate at 4pm. Thanks Danny, a job really well done!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice taste of NO I signed up for the bike tour with my 3 boys ages 11,12, and 12. They had never been to NOLA. Bike tours are always a good way for them to get a flavor of a city and still be active. This was what I expected. There was a reasonable amount of history and culture explained during the tour. The pace was slow but the guide was careful and safety was a priority. Jeremy was always willing to pause and answer questions as well as give tips for other things to do or see in the area. We had a nice time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional New Orleans Bike Tour Our tour guide Danny gave a outstanding tour and was very personal to all bikers. He took a sincere effort to share the history and beauty of the city. His unique insight and in-depth history was exceptional. There was several distractors during our ride and Danny handled them all, even as we witnessed a traffic accident in the distance. He was able to control the situation and riders as one of us rendered first aid. Danny provided a quality tour that I would recommend to any one!!
