Paris Segway Night Tour

The Segway tour is the perfect tour for both those new to the city and Parisian veterans. For the beginners, this tour will offer you a fantastic orientation and give you an opportunity to see virtually all of the sites you’ve read about. For the veterans, we’re positive you’ll learn new facts and stories about Paris that you’ve never heard. And we’re sure you’ll both agree that riding a Segway is the best way to see the ‘City of Light’.

Highlights of the tour include:

• The Eiffel Tower – the symbol of Paris. Built for the World Exposition of 1889 and stood as the tallest building in the world until New York's Chrysler building in 1930.
• Napoleon's Tomb – originally built by King Louis XIV, now the resting place of the most famous Frenchman in history.
• The Louvre Museum – originally built as a fort by King Philippe-Auguste in 1190, now one of the grandest museums in the world. The most famous works include the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo and Winged Victory of Samothrace.
• Arc de Triomphe – commissioned by Napoléon to honor his army’s victory and another symbol of Paris.
• Champs Elysées – the most famous avenue in the world.
• Musée D’Orsay – originally a train station and now the museum of Impressionist paintings.

Meeting Point
Both the Day Tour and Night Tour meet at the South Leg ("Pilier Sud") of the Eiffel Tower. Our guide will be on a Segway and therefore very easy to find.

Important Notes
Each of our tours begins with a 30-minute orientation session in the plaza and park next to our office. We will practice on the Segways so that everyone feels comfortable and ready to go out and conquer Paris. The Segway is appropriate for virtually anyone 12 and older. Minors under the age of 18 must either be accompanied by an adult or have an adult complete our insurance paperwork in advance of the tour. Unfortunately, anyone under the age of 12 and pregnant women will not be permitted to participate. Additionally, City Segway Tours has a strict policy against alcohol consumption and Segway operation. Alcohol is forbidden on all Segway tours and any client suspected of drinking before or during a Segway tour will immediately forfeit their tour and no refund will be given. Got questions?
